Rob Couhig 'hopeful Reading propose an acceptable resolution' to end off-field crisis
Former Wycombe Wanderers owner Rob Couhig has spoken after defeating Reading owner Dai Yongge in court, with the Chinese businessman now facing disqualification from the English Football Leauge. Mr Couhig was a long-term suitor for the club, loaning funds last year to keep it afloat, but has taken the club to court after the deal failed to complete. On Friday, the club attempted to get Mr Couhig's charges dropped, allowing a sale to complete with another party, however Judge Justice Jacobs sided with the American and claimed there is nothing preventing a sale. During this case, it was revealed that Mr Yongge now has until May 4 to sell the club due to his disqualification, or the club could face being kicked out of the EFL.
